Visibility’s rough, thermal sights suddenly matter again, and every corner feels like someone’s waiting because the fog covers half the skyline. It pushes you forward whether you want that or not, and that’s not something this game used to do well.

Weapon Balancing That Actually Feels Right

The weapon changes hit harder on paper than they do in an actual match. A bunch of players were yelling about losing their favourite builds, but once you start firing, you get why the devs toned things down. The old laser-beam rifles were getting silly, and now recoil makes you slow down and think before dumping a mag. Fights at mid-range last just long enough that you can react instead of instantly dropping. LMG players finally get a break too—taking away those ADS penalties on the M123K and L110 makes them feel useful without turning them into runaway monsters. And if you haven’t messed with the KORD 6P67’s cheaper 200‑round mag yet, you’re missing out; it clears rooms like nothing else right now.

Sound Fixes and New Loadout Winners

The audio fixes might be my favourite part of the update. Hearing someone sprinting up behind you before they slam into you changes everything. The tiny sound cues—cloth, metal, gravel—make it easier to guess what’s coming, especially in those narrow hallways where it’s either you or them. And with all the shifting around in the gun meta, the L85A3 has turned into a real workhorse. It didn’t get clipped by the nerfs, and it hits clean at mid-range while still letting you move fast.
